Wildlife Photography Courses

Dimension Photography offers a range of wildlife photography courses to beginners taking their first steps either with a digital camera or into the amazing world of wildlife. Using a variety of venues students will be brought up close to wild birds and animals. The day courses are a balance of theory and the opportunity to put theory into practice working with the birds and animals. Groups are limited to a maximum of 15 to ensure time and opportunity for one to one practical tuition.

The courses are led by a professional photographer and lecturer who is a much travelled having worked in North & South America, the Arctic, the Himalayas, the Far East, much of Europe and the UK. He was the photographer on expeditions to Cape Horn, Nordkapp, Iceland etc. His work has appeared in many publications including books, national dailies and the Sunday Telegraph Magazine. All venues are chosen to give sufficient time with the animals/birds and provide comfortable lecture facilities. On day courses refreshments and lunch are provided in pleasant, warm surroundings.

Students require only a DSLR with a moderate lens without the need to purchase expensive equipment. During the day they will have the opportunity to view and print some of their images.

We aim to provide unique opportunities whilst improving photographic skills and learning a little about their subjects – the birds and animals.
